Our china clay manufacturing process entails a few steps. These steps include excavation, sieving, settling, filtering, drying and then packing and transporting it to the required location. The first step entails excavating or extracting china clay by mixing it with water. The slurry form obtained after this step goes through a sieving process wherein all the small stones, sand materials, or particles are removed.
Once the clay is sieved, it is left to settle in the settling tanks. The filter press process increases the moisture content of the clay by 15 to 20%. It takes the cake-like form. In the drying process, the moisture content in the cake from clay is reduced to 5%. The last step entails breaking the dried china clay into small pieces and packing and transporting it.
